2019 Summer Internship Program

The Summer Internship Program is a great way to gain practical experience in a variety of ministry contexts. From children's ministry to nursing home visits and everything in between, summer interns will be immersed in hands-on ministry preparation and training. The internship is open to all graduating high school seniors and current college students.

Summer Internship Expectations and Guidelines

  • Interns are expected to uphold moral standards that reflect a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and are consistent with the beliefs and values of Oak Hill Baptist Church.


  • Interns are to exhibit the ability and willingness to serve alongside all members of the Oak Hill Baptist Church staff.


  • Interns are expected to attend and participate in ministry events and opportunities. These include, but are not limited to: Sunday worship services, Wednesday evening services, kid's summer camp, middle and high school summer camp.


  • Interns are to exhibit the ability and willingness to serve in the various ministries of Oak Hill Baptist Church.


  • Interns are expected to be present during assigned work hours, for both on campus and off campus activities and events.


  • Interns are to exhibit the ability and willingness to uphold a strict policy of confidentiality, as necessary, when ministering to and with the members and attendees of Oak Hill Baptist Church.


  • Interns are expected to have a great attitude as they work alongside church staff and ministry leaders to serve Jesus and his church.
