Dr. Greg Lyons serves as a church planting missionary throughout Asia and is the founder and president of Global Surge, a ministry dedicated to planting churches, developing leaders, and advancing the Gospel around the world. Through God's grace and the Global Surge team, more than 250 churches have been planted, along with multiple schools, nonprofit organizations, and leadership training initiatives.

Dr. Lyons also serves as Senior Pastor of a multi-site church averaging more than 9,000 in weekend attendance, President of Global Life University, President of Louisiana Baptist University, and oversees a multi-site Christian school. He regularly trains and mentors pastors and ministry leaders across Asia, Africa, and beyond.

Greg and his wife, LuAnn, have been married for over 40 years and are blessed with six adult children and thirteen grandchildren.
