HERE ARE A FEW WAYS YOU CAN HELP MAKE EACH GUEST FEEL LOVED:
There are many teams to serve our Honored Guests, both at the event and outside of the event itself.
Your commitment to the role you choose to fill is so important to the success of the event. We will communicate primarily through email, so please be sure to provide us with an email address that will be frequently accessed. Our biggest need for volunteers will once again be our BUDDY TEAM. We are required to have a buddy for every guest that joins us. Please consider committing to this amazing opportunity.

- BUDDY TEAM (THIS IS OUR MOST VITAL AREA OF SERVICE) Accompany and assist assigned guest throughout the evening, providing companionship and any assistance they may need during the event. Sit with their guest during dinner and engage with them. We recommend volunteer buddies be at least 18 years old. Please consider being a Buddy!
- FOOD SERVICE TEAM Assist with setup. maintain and service of the food area throughout the evening for all of our guests.
- GLAM ROOM - HAIR, MAKEUP & SHOESHINE TEAM Assist set-up team with the salon area. Welcome each guest to a salon station for hair and makeup or to a seat for a shoeshine. Chat with them while you pamper them and make them feel special.
- RED CARPET TEAM Assist and announce guests as they make their way down the red carpet, manage flow of traffic and cheer them on to make them feel welcomed.
- RESPITE ROOM TEAM Love on the parents/caretakers by serving food, spending time getting to know them and being available to pray with them.
- PARKING LOT TEAM Greet guests, direct them to correct entrance.
- COAT CHECK TEAM Greet guests, take their coats, label them and hang them. As guests leave, ask for their names and retrieve their coats. The coat check area can also serve as a lost and found at the end of the evening.
- GUEST REGISTRATION TEAM Warmly greet guests, sign them in, give them their name tag or lanyard, and answer any questions they may have. Help guests connect with their assigned buddy for the evening.
- CLEAN UP TEAM Take down decorations, tables, chairs, etc. and clean up the event space.
The Tim Tebow foundation requires background checks for ALL volunteers serving
during the Night to Shine prom, regardless of the role you are serving.
